Important: How this is different from Shopify’s “Agentic” feature
In your Shopify admin, under Sales channels, you will see a menu item called Agentic.
Many store owners look at that dashboard and think Shopify is already handling AI visibility for them. That is only partly true.
Shopify’s Agentic feature makes your products available to AI shopping tools. It is useful, but it is similar to having a website that is not optimized for Google — just having it turned on does not mean AI tools will actually recommend your business when people ask questions.
